Competitive Local Exchange Companies (CLEC)

Companies providing phone service in the Central Oklahoma region must file as a CLEC with the Oklahoma Corporation Commission. The Company applying for their CCN (Certificate of Convenience and Necessity) and doing business within the Central Oklahoma region should also enter an agreement with 9-1-1 ACOG, which can be downloaded below. Please submit three originals for approval.

Telecommunication Service Providers in Central Oklahoma

There are many telephone service companies providing service in the Central Oklahoma region. Among general telephone services, these companies are responsible for providing their customers with connection to 9-1-1 emergency phone service. If you are concerned with 9-1-1 telephone service, please contact your telephone service provider. If you have further questions, please e-mail us at 911acog@acogok.org.

Emergency Service Fee Remittance Forms

CLEC and VOIP companies providing phone service in the Central Oklahoma region must fill out this monthly fee remittal form: Print out, complete, and mail or fax to ACOG, 4205 N. Lincoln Boulevard,  Oklahoma City, OK 73105, or fax (405) 234-2200, or email: ssapp@acogok.org.

Other Types of Service Providers

Providers of wireless and other communications services that use varying types of technology and connect to the public switch telephone network must provide 9-1-1 emergency service according to Title 63. Public Health and Safety Chapter 58 – Emergency Telephone Services Nine-One-One Wireless Emergency Number Act. Wireless and VoIP providers must remit a 50 cent service fee per customer according to state law. Please refer to the following documents.
