Civil Rights in the Transportation Planning Process
Title VI
Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 requires that no person in the United States shall on the grounds of race, color, national origin, gender, age or disability be excluded from participation in, or be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity of federal aid recipients, cub recipients or contractors.
This page is intended for use by ACOG member governments and affiliated agencies as a resource for developing and implementing nondiscrimination and environmental justice policies and procedures as required by the US Department of Transportation. It also provides residents with information related to the ACOG Transportation Division's nondiscrimination policies and procedures.
