open-streets-transparencyACOG is a proud supporter of Open Streets OKC, a local health and wellness project. We believe active transportation–like biking or walking from point A to B–promotes healthier residents with closer ties to their community.

About Open Streets OKC

Open Streets OKC repurposes part of a busy street for a few hours for non-motorized activity. Everyone attending is invited to walk, bike, skate or board while they meet local business owners and celebrate the unique charm of historic Oklahoma City neighborhoods.

The OKC County Health Department’s Wellness Now Coalition organizes Open Streets together with several member organizations including ACOG, Neighborhood Alliance of Central Oklahoma and the YMCA of Greater Oklahoma City.

Please revisit this page for information about future events.

Open Streets is Pet-Friendly!

Open Streets is a pet-friendly event! We ask all pets be on a leash during the event. Route will run on South Robinson Ave from SW 15th Street to SW 29th Street and encompass Wiley Post Park.

Open Streets OKC

The more residents who choose active transportation, the greater push for more accessible communities. That means healthier Oklahomans, more foot traffic for the local economy and an active interest in shaping the areas we call “home.”
