Water Resources Manager
The Water Resources Manager is responsible for the planning and assessment of water resources for the ACOG region. This entails providing regular reports on technical water resource issues to the ACOG membership, submitting detailed reports to federal and state agencies as required, assessing the groundwater conditions of the Garber-Wellington Aquafer, and conducting in-depth water studies and modeling. This position includes proactively assisting and advising both local government officials and the public on surface and groundwater related issues. The Manager also provides staff support and guidance for the Garber-Wellington Association Policy Committee.

Community & Economic Development (CED) Planner II
The CED Planner II is a full-time, in-office position supervised by the CED Manager. The CED Planner II will contribute to a wide range of strategic community and economic development planning projects within the Capital Area Economic Development District (CAPEDD) of Oklahoma, which is synonymous with the ACOG four-county region. They will also manage large federal and state grants utilizing digital Grants Management Systems (GMS). The CED Planner II will conduct independent research as required.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate tact, diplomacy, and confidence in interacting with elected officials, local government staff, stakeholders, and the public. Strong communication skills and the ability to navigate complex situations with professionalism are essential for success in this role.
