Emergency Communications Manager| City of Moore

The City of Moore Police Department is accepting applications for a full-time Emergency Communications Manager position.

    Salary: $65,253 – $84,829 annually

    Job Type: Full-time with benefits

    Department: Police Department Communications Division– Public Safety Center

    Education and Experience:

    • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
    • Six (6) years of public safety dispatch experience, including two (2) years at the level of a Dispatcher II or Lead Dispatcher.

    License or Certificate (must already possess or have the ability to obtain and maintain throughout employment):

    • Valid Oklahoma driver’s license
    • Communications Officer I certification from the Association of Central Oklahoma Governments (ACOG)
    • Certified Training Officer certification from the Association of Central Oklahoma Governments (ACOG)
    • Emergency Medical Dispatch certification through Priority Dispatch
    • Emergency Medical Dispatch-Quality Assurance certification through Priority Dispatch

    Communications Officer | City of Nichols Hills

     The Nichols Hills Police Department is accepting applications for a full-time Communications Officer position. Position includes police, fire, and 9-1-1 dispatching.

    Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED, the ability to write routine reports and correspondence, the ability to communicate effectively, the ability to operate a radio and computer, and the ability to pass required tests. Shift work is required. No felony convictions.  OLETS certification and/or emergency dispatching experience preferred.
