GRANT OPPORTUNITIES

ACOG continues to provide information to members and committees on available grants in Central Oklahoma. Below is information on a few open grant opportunities in the region.

Hometown Grants Program – T-Mobile & Main Street America

  • Q1 2026 application window opened January 1, 2026, and closes March 31, 2026.
  • Award amounts up to $50,000. No match required. Projects must be able to be executed within 12 months of receiving funds. Applicants must have a population <50,000.
  • This program is designed for communities looking to build, rebuild, create, or refresh connection points in their communities, such as historic buildings, libraries, parks, trails, community gardens and kitchens, and more. Projects must be shovel-ready and be able to be executed within 12 months of receiving funds.

Grants for Arts Projects – National Endowment for the Arts (NEA)

  • Grants.gov submission window closes February 12, 2026. Application cycle will re-open July 2026.
  • Applicants may request between $10,000 – $100,000 for Design & Our Town projects. Maximum 50% federal cost share; local cost share may include in-kind match.
  • Eligible applicants include units of Tribal, state, or local government, arts education or services agencies, and other 501(c)(3) nonprofit agencies.
  • Eligible Design & Our Town projects include the commissioning of public art, historic preservation and adaptive reuse, programs that strengthen the creative economy, and various forms of planning and urban design activities for public spaces, cultural districts, cultural assets, public art, and community design.

BUILD Program (formerly RAISE) – US Department of Transportation

  • Application window closes February 24, 2026.
  • Approximately $1.5 billion available for award. Maximum 80% federal cost share for urban areas; up to 100% federal cost share for rural areas, areas of persistent poverty, and historically disadvantaged communities.
  • No minimum award for planning projects; minimum award of $1 million for rural projects and $5 million for urban projects. Maximum federal award $25 million.
  • Eligible applicants include transit agencies, public agencies and authorities, special purpose districts, and Tribal, state, county, and local governments.
  • Program supports planning and construction of surface transportation infrastructure projects of significant local or regional impact, including public transportation, passenger and freight rail, highways and bridges, and surface transportation components of ports and airports.

Healthy Incentives Grants for Communities – Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust (TSET)

Community Challenge Grants – AARP

  • Application window closes March 4, 2026. Project completion deadline December 31, 2026.
  • Program supports livability initiatives that help communities become great places to live through short-term improvements that jump-start long-term progress.
  • Flagship Grants (up to $15,000) will fund projects such as public spaces, transportation, and housing.
  • Capacity-Building Microgrants (up to $2,500) provide technical assistance to conduct walk audits, bike audits, and other trainings.
  • Demonstration Grants ($10,000 to $25,000) support projects focused on pedestrian safety and housing design.
