GRANT OPPORTUNITIES

ACOG continues to provide information to members and committees on available grants in Central Oklahoma. Below is information on a few open grant opportunities in the region.

Hometown Grants Program – T-Mobile & Main Street America

• Q4 application window opened October 1 and closes December 31, 2025.
• Award amounts up to $50,000. No match required. Projects must be able to be executed within12 months of receiving funds. Applicants must have a population <50,000.
• This program is designed for communities looking to build, rebuild, create, or refresh connection points in their communities, such as historic buildings, libraries, parks, trails, community gardens
and kitchens, and more. Projects must be shovel-ready and be able to be executed within 12 months of receiving funds.

Built Environment Grants – Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust (TSET)
• Application window opened September 23 and closes November 18, 2025.
• Eligible applicants include public agencies, tribal governments, educational institutions, and 501(c)(3) nonprofit agencies.
• Maximum award for planning/design projects $150,000; maximum award for construction projects $300,000/year for up to two years. Awards conferred on reimbursement basis.
• Match funding not required for planning/design projects; match funding required for construction projects serving populations >10,000.
• Program supports infrastructure projects that promote physical activity and nutrition, including planning and development of park/trail systems, enhancements to downtown spaces, and construction or renovation of sidewalks, playgrounds, and farmers markets.
• TSET programs have been revised for the FY 2026 grant cycle. For more information, please visit:

Healthy Incentives Grants for Communities – Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust (TSET)
• Application window opens October 24 and closes November 21, 2025.
• Maximum award up to $100,000 depending on population.
• No match required; funds disbursed on an up-front basis.
• Eligible uses may include: walking trails, farmers community gardens, market venues, sport courts, bicycle lanes and racks, and consultant services for walkability plans.

Recreational Trails Program – Oklahoma Tourism & Recreation
• Application window closes January 30, 2026.
• Maximum award $300,000; conferred on a reimbursement basis. Minimum 20% local match.
• Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) nonprofit agencies, substate planning authorities, and federal, state, county, and local governments.
• Program supports the development of recreational trail and trail-related projects. Eligible uses include lighting, fencing, benches, bridges, ramps, trail maintenance and rehabilitation, parking,
restrooms, direct labor or service contracts. acquisition of land or permanent easement, and site specific engineering and design.

Keep Route 66 Beautiful – Keep Oklahoma Beautiful
• Communities, community groups, and others residing along Route 66 can apply for microgrants to paint public structures and community buildings, plant pollinator plots, and conduct community cleanup or hazardous waste drop-off events.
• Communities are also invited to propose original ideas that best serve their community and its connection to Route 66.
• Applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis through the end of 2026.
