GRANT WRITING & ADMINISTRATION:
A VITAL SERVICE TO THE ACOG REGION
The ACOG Community & Economic Development team is experienced and equipped to write and/or administer grants from state and federal agencies, non-profit organizations, and major foundations.
Grant preparation and administration services are available to both ACOG members and other organizations, with various fee structures.

GRANT PREPARATION
ACOG offers this service to local governments or organizations.
- Prepare grant applications & supporting documents
- Develop language for grant narrative & data
- Prepare supplemental grant documents
- Submit grant application to ensure timely submission
GRANT PREPARATION FEE STRUCTURE
State & Federal Agencies: 4% of total grant monies request with the following exceptions:
- EDA: $250
- FEMA: $1,500
- Non-Profits/Foundations: $75/hour
GRANT ADMINISTRATION
ACOG will manage awarded grants for a recipient, local government or organization, through a contractural agreement.
The fees charged from grant administration will be based on the total grant funds awarded.

- 30% due upon initial release of funds
- 30% at mid-point of grant
- 30% at completion of project
- 10% after final prep

Community Development Block Grants (CDBG)
The CDBG program is a flexible program that provides communities with resources to address a wide range of unique community development needs.
Economic Development Grants
As an Economic Development District, our staff provides grant services to ACOG members applying for grants from the U.S. Economic Development Administration.
Rural Economic Action Plan (REAP) Grants
REAP grants are essential to providing Oklahoma communities, with populations under 7,000, the opportunities to improve their infrastructure & quality of life.
FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES
Transportation Grants
Air Quality Small Grant Program
The Air Quality Small Grant Program funds transportation infrastructure projects and congestion relief efforts that strive towards the betterment of regional air quality. A minimum of $200,000 is make available annually through a competitive grant process.
Fleet Maintenance Grants
The Fleet Conversion Grant Program offers ACOG members & other eligible entities to access Federal Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ) Improvement Program funds for fleet conversions to clean fuel technologies to include light duty, medium & heavy duty alternative fuel vehicles.
Surface Transportation Block Grant Urbanized Area (STBG-UZA) Grants
The STBG-UZA grant program provides flexible funding to best address state and local transportation needs. This program uses a Federally authorized formula funding allocated to the Oklahoma City Metropolitan region.
Recreational Trails Grant Program
The Recreational Trails Program (RTP) is a state-administered, federal aid program managed through the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department (OTRD) and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) in consultation with the Department of the Interior.
